Acne is a disease called seborrhea or seborrheic dermatitis. It occurs when the sebaceous glands, under your skin become infected with oily matter that contains dirt, excess oil, dead skin, bacteria and other toxic matter.

You sebaceous glands normally produce oil that will come out through your pores and onto the surface of your skin. This process is to keep your skin most which also gives protection from the surrounding environment.

When the pores on your face are closed or plugged, it creates oil that becomes toxic. This toxic oil becomes trapped in your skin. The end result is a pimple. Pimples will increase in size as more toxic oil tries to release itself from your skin. When the walls of the pore break under the skin, white blood cells begin to infiltrate to digest the collagen that has amassed around the pores. This is what will cause scarring on your face.

In order to avoid scarring, you need to begin and maintain an acne face-cleaning program before you get pimples. This will help prevent the pimples that do occur from turning into white heads or black heads.

Acne can be a complex condition that uses many parts of the body. Acne is a signal that you have other problems inside your body. Acne has been known to be caused by a toxic colon, poor digestive tract and a weak liver and any other condition that causes the blood to carry too many toxins.

You may be able to get rid of acne with one method, however most find that they need to utilize many methods to get rid of their acne problems.
